The Shim-Sham is a popular part of our swing parties, where everyone joins in to dance this famous tap routine. The accompanying music, typically by Jimmie Lunceford & his orchestra, captures the essence of 1930s swing.
Dafa will offer a 3-hour class to teach the Shim-Sham, focusing on the steps, rhythms, and musical structure. These elements are important not only for Solo Jazz but also for enhancing couple dance skills.
The class is very beginner friendly. No Solo Jazz experience required!
